CONCERT RULES
The City of Port Colborne is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all concertgoers. By entering the concert grounds, attendees agree to follow all festival rules and instructions from event staff, security personnel, volunteers, and emergency responders.
Know Before You Go
Free Admission – Arrive Early
Admission to all Canal Days concerts is free; however, concert capacity is limited.

Entry is first-come, first-served.

Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Once the venue reaches capacity, additional guests will not be admitted.

Admission cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals.
-
Re-entry is not guaranteed and will be subject to venue capacity at the time of return.

No entry after 10:30 p.m.
What to Bring
To help make your experience enjoyable, we recommend that you:

Bring valid government-issued photo identification if you plan to purchase or consume alcohol.

Bring cash, debit, credit, or other accepted payment methods for food, beverages, and vendors.

Establish a meeting location with your group in case you become separated.
-
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear.
-
Bring hearing protection, especially for children and those sensitive to loud noise.
Security Screening
For the safety of all attendees, security screening will be in place at all concert entrances.

All attendees and belongings are subject to inspection.

Security personnel reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or item.

Any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate may be prohibited at the discretion of event security.
Permitted Items
The following items are permitted within the concert grounds:

Ear protection and hearing protection devices

Strollers
-
Mobility aids and accessibility devices

Empty refillable non-glass drink containers
-
Factory-sealed non-glass beverage containers (water, pop, juice, etc)

Small bags, such as a clutch, small cross-body bag or other similar purse.

Service animals
-
Small umbrellas

Prescription medication

Sunscreen

Medical bags/kits or diaper bags

Blankets
All permitted items remain subject to inspection by security personnel.
Prohibited Items
The following items/actions are not permitted within the concert grounds:

Glass containers

Metal beverage containers

Bicycle helmets and motorcycle helmets

Signs 8/5"x11" or larger

Aerosol cans

Megaphones and artificial noise makers

Non-collapsible umbrellas

Pets/non-service animals

Soccer balls or other sports equipment

Skateboards, rollerblades, rollers kates, bicycles, scooters, motorized vehicles

Professional video cameras or recording devices (with the exception of media carrying a canal days media pass)

Tents, canopies, or other structures

Large items that may obstruct sightlines or create safety concerns

Any item deemed unsafe by event security
Security reserves the right to prohibit any item that may pose a risk to attendees, performers, staff, or volunteers.
Please note, smoking, vaping or consuming cannabis products are not permitted.
Alcohol Service and Identification
Guests wishing to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages must:

Be 19 years of age or older.

Present valid government-issued photo identification.
-
Obtain and wear the event-issued wristband provided after age verification.
-
Carry valid identification at all times while consuming alcohol.
Please note:

Wristband colours change each day of the festival.

Photographs or copies of identification will not be accepted.
-
Alcohol must remain within designated licensed areas.
-
Service may be refused to anyone who appears intoxicated.
Accessible Viewing Area
An accessible viewing area is available for guests requiring mobility accommodations.

Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

One support person may accompany the attendee, where space permits.

Mobility aids and accessibility devices are welcome.

Please follow directions from event staff and volunteers when accessing the area.
Attendee Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to:

Follow all applicable laws.

Follow directions from event staff, volunteers, security personnel, and emergency responders.

Respect festival property, facilities, performers, vendors, and fellow attendees.
The following behaviours will not be tolerated:

Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.

Disorderly, aggressive, or disruptive conduct.
-
Threatening behaviour.
-
Excessive intoxication.
-
Damage to property.
-
Any activity that jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others.
Individuals who violate these expectations may be removed from the event without warning.
